Blog Demonstration
The purpose of this blog is to be used as a demonstration of how blogs can be used to get information out. Many of Salem's neighborhood associations have been relying primarily on mailing paper newsletters to get the word out about what is going on in the neighborhood. With the recent cut to the Neighborhood Services printing and mailing budget, we are now exploring all kinds of options that are available online. Blogging is one easy way to publish neighborhood news stories. Blogs can also link to video clips, websites, and social media.
